SEASONS EAST favors flash fiction, short stories, novel excerpts, and all sorts of poetry, but feel free to send us your visual art– your drawings, your sketches, your photography, your paintings, etc. Please submit all pieces as email text or as Microsoft Word attachments.

All PROSE submissions must be …
1. Typed in Times New Roman font, size 12.
2. One to twelve pages long.
3. Titled.
4. Accompanied by a three sentence third-person bio.

All POETRY submissions must be …
1. Typed in Times New Roman font, size 12.
2. One to five pages long.
3. Titled.
4. Accompanied by a three sentence third-person bio.

All VISUAL ART submissions must be …
1. Three to five pages long.
2. One piece per page.
3. Titled.
4. Accompanied by a three sentence third-person bio.

Our RESPONSE TIME should be between 2weeks – 1month from receiving your submissions. Being a smaller online publication we will go over and review each piece as quickly and thoroughly as possible.

For SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS, please inform SEASONS EAST upon submitting your pieces, and alert us of your withdrawal upon your pieces’ acceptance by another publication.

Concerning the AUTHOR’S RIGHTS for accepted pieces, SEASONS EAST will retain non-exclusive rights to publish your piece in a specific issue and keep it within our archives until you request otherwise.

We DO NOT ACCEPT reprints, so if your piece has been previously published, please DO NOT SUBMIT them to SEASONS EAST.

SEASONS EAST will publish on a ROLLING BASIS.
